The Mixture Of Old And New Structures

The Indian architecture is rich and vivid. It is a reflection of a country’s cultural history. International travelers find it amazing to see the country’s earlier and ancient architecture which is usually made by indigenous rulers or foreign powers. The rock-cut caves of Ajanta and Ellora are samples of the earlier architecture. The temples built in  Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala in the ancient period are cultural and monumental epitomes built by the ancient rulers.

Along with the old architecture, there are modern buildings and structures that you can find in cities across the state. The heritage structures of Mysore, the old temples of Mahabalipuram, and the Nalukettu in Kerala are other main architectural icons. The British rule turned the country’s ancient type of architecture into a new one.

Most of the bridges, old government buildings, and dams were built by the British rulers and they are still intact in the country. The tourists visiting the country will get a mixture of ancient and contemporary structures. The scenic visuals of old villages and natural tea plantations add serenity to the view.

As a traveler, a trip to India will be a memorable one.
